I’ve been boxing at Knox Box/Third Power Fitness for about eight months when I decided to finally bring my camera in. I was sick one day and had been thinking about it for some time, and I was glad that I did. It was one of the hardest shoots for me since the lighting is low all over the place. There are halogen and incandescent bulbs, plus natural light to deal with combined with lenses that aren’t all that fast. It was interesting and towards the end of the shoot I was starting to get the hang of the hot and cold spots throughout the ring. Biggest lesson learned, leave on my prime lens (50mm 1.7), I went back and forth and my prime was the best performer out of the lot. There are various descriptions peppered througout the gallery, so take some time to check 'em all out.
I really like this shot, but I could never figure out what to do with it. What you are looking at is a combination of a few filters, and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Check back to see what my imagination turns out next.
